Come and join The Foundry at Fort Lauderdale ACM SIGGRAPH February 5th, 2013 and take a chance to WIN one copy of  modo!

We have invited Digital Artists Alex Friderici, Deke Kincaid, & Greg Brown to join us on February 5th 2013 at Cinema Paradiso.  They will show you key features in recently released NUKE 7.0, as well as how to use your HIERO, MARI and modo to their full potential.

The drinks are on us, so stick around for a chat after the presentations.

  • Deke Kincaid has 14 years of experience in the world of Visual Effects working on over 40 films, 50 commercials and a variety of television shows and video games. Some notable credits include Watchmen, Garfield 2, The Waterhorse, The Back Eyed Peas Grammy winning music video Boom Boom Pow and Pirates of the Carribean 2 & 3.  He has had the pleasure of working at award winning companies such as Technicolor, Rhythm & Hues, Method, Riot, Asylum VFX, Motion Theory and Weta Digital.


  • Greg Brown has worked in Advertising as a 3D artist for 5 years and as a freelance Character Modeler for 8.  Greg has produced work for variety of high profile brands during his time at Alter, including Coors, Mcdonalds, Corona, Bacardi, Hersheys, Cox Cable and many others.  He currently lives in Chicago, Il and spends his days serving up fresh, hot Modo goodness…

 

 

  • Alex Friderici has worked on blockbuster films such as the The Terminal, Pan’s Labyrinth, Sin City, and The Mist as well as broadcast projects. He is the Principal of EyelandArts, a boutique visual effects and production house located in the tropical city of Hollywood.
